In September 2018, Juliet Holness, wife of Prime Minister Andrew Holness, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and member of parliament for East Rural St. Andrew, wrote a letter to the Companies Office of Jamaica stating that “I, Juliet A. Holness do hereby give my consent for the use of my name Juliet A. Holness as the name of the foundation ‘Juliet A. Holness Foundation Limited’.”

The following month, in October, a foundation with the same name was registered at the government entity, about two years before the 2020 general election.
